While thinking about the Indian words mentioned below, I realized their deeper sense and the commonality deep below each other. All of them have something to gain and something to sacrifice.

Bhiksha: Is seeking alms, in seeking alms one has to give up his ego, hope, desires etc
Deeksha: Is determination to achieve what one desires, one has to fore go many other likes/desires and be focused on the one he/she is poised to achieve.  
Moksha: Is seeking salvation to life, it is said to be possible only when one is desire less.
Siksha: Is seeking Knowledge or training, is it not true that one has to fore go all other activities to be focused on what? one is learning.
